Taylor will be graduating in Spring 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of California Santa Barbara. In 2013, Taylor graduated from the Australian Institute of Higher and Further Education with an Advanced Diploma of Nutritional Medicine. For 4 years she worked as a chef and recipe creator in the kitchen of a health food cafe in Western Australia catering to specific dietary needs including low-sugar, keto, vegan, gluten-free and paleo. During her time in Australia, she also held a leadership position in marketing for Cancer Support Western Australia while pursuing further education in public health.

Upon returning home to California, Taylor helped launch a health food company where her main role was in product creation and marketing. Taylor’s knowledge and passion for marketing comes from growing up with her dad who played a major role in marketing and launching successful television shows such as The Simpsons and That 70’s Show.

Her hobbies outside of academics include perfecting her sourdough recipe, reading, and running with a goal of completing an ultramarathon one day.
