With over 30 years of leadership across multiple industries and numerous countries, Gregg’s experience will bolster SBN’s commitment to providing science-based products that support and enhance kidney health using patented and patent-pending technology.
With a history of Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) in his family, Gregg is deeply passionate about SBN’s innovative first product, KetoCitra®, a medical food for the dietary management of individuals with PKD and CKD, as well as SBN’s pipeline of future products and services to support the kidney health community. Gregg initially joined the SBN management team in the third quarter of 2022 and now steps up to lead the company as its CEO.
Originally from New York, Gregg began his career working with privatization in the early 90s in Warsaw, Poland. The next 6 years were spent in management with Gerber Products, focusing on business development across Europe.
From there, Gregg went on to spend the next 14 years working in telecom and the then emerging internet realm with the Pantel/Invitel/Euroweb group of companies, devoting the last 6 years to his position as CEO and leading the company to its landmark sale to Turk Telekom.
More recently, Gregg was CEO for Scitec Nutrition, transforming a founder-led sports nutrition business into a professional multinational company complete with worldwide sales, over 100 franchise stores, and a partnership with the Hungarian Olympic Committee.
“We are pleased that Gregg has joined our unique company. This is an important step in our mission to bring science-backed products and hope to the millions of people around the world with kidney disease,” said Dr. Thomas Weimbs, President, and Founder of Santa Barbara Nutrients.
